During the program, students receive in-depth training in repairing and servicing refrigerators, water coolers, bottle coolers, deep freezers, visi coolers, walk-in coolers, ice plants, cold storage, and transport refrigeration systems. They also learn installation and maintenance of split ACs, package ACs, central air conditioning systems, automobile air conditioning, railway and aircraft cooling systems, and ship refrigeration. Additionally, students develop troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to ensure smooth operation and efficient cooling in different environments while following industry safety standards and best practices for working efficiently in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
To be eligible for this course, students must have passed 10th grade with Mathematics and Science from a recognized school board. Aspiring candidates should possess strong practical and technical abilities, including the ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work in confined spaces or at heights when required.
